KOZAMEX Metal Plant has been established in 1986 in Puszczewo near Częstochowa. It is a private-owned company, the owner of which is Mr. Zdzisław Koza. At the beginning, the company provided only fitting services, later it has started to manufacture elements for Gall chains in cooperation with companies belonging to Spółdzielnia Rzemieślnicza ( craftmen cooperative) in Kłobuck. These elements were initially meant only for export.
In that period, the company started do deal with thermochemical treatment of steel on a wide scale. In 1990, the company became fully independent, continuing production of a wide range of Gall chains made by ZM KOZAMEX are used in the sugar, metallurgical and mining stations as well. In 1995, the company manufactured 12.000m of Gall chains.
That year, the company moved to a new location, in Lisów near Częstochowa. Presentl, the production area of the new facility amounts to 18.000m2. Production of new line of products, mainly meant for the mining industry in Poland and abroad was started in the new facility.
